Kristie + Jack

Well, here’s a personal favourite! I’ve known Kristie for a few years, we worked together in hospitality in the lead up to my wedding in 2017! I remember her telling me about her partner, and her kid and back then I never would’ve thought I would be the one taking photos of her on her wedding day!

Kristie and Jack have a really fun dynamic. In this photoshoot I remember Jack saying “say something funny Kristie” and she would just crack up and he’d be standing there like “you’re meant to be making me laugh” and she would laugh even more, to which he would then laugh at. (see if you can find that moment, I included it in the photos below). The joy these two share is very evident throughout the photos, I often found myself smiling like an idiot editing these - even now as I write this blurb. I love their family dynamic, the love, the joy, the fun, the safety - that was another thing I noticed. They’re each others sanctuary, and I thought that was a beautiful dynamic. A place where you can belong, to be yourself and always be loved. Family ❤️
