Joel + Viena

I love love love these two! In a few weeks my sister and her husband, Joel, are having a baby girl - and I am so over the moon for them both! Viena has just gone on maternity leave, so we decided it was time to have a little couple/maternity shoot before she pops. Viena trusted me to do her hair and makeup as well - my husband Ben was recording vocals with a client, so we both had to whisper the whole time, but if anyone has had to be in stealth mode with Viena, they will know she gradually gets louder and louder. We got in trouble a fair bit because of her passionate whispering AKA a crescendo from a whisper to a yell at bed time 😂

When Viena was all dolled up, we met Joel at a local headland and ventured round the area. It was super windy!! We ended up heading to a different beach to avoid the crazy wind! I love the little things these two do, there’s a lot of joy in their relationship and I loved watching Joel’s fun side come out for these photos too - you’ll notice in a photo below, a clump of grass is flying through the air as Viena poses for some photos - all Joel’s brilliant work.
